Halloween is upon us! scary games rule, and yet they are very hard to find. This game however may not scare you as much as the last two, but it is one heck of a game! The game is called The Last Stand. There are three games in the series. The Last Stand, The Last Stand 2, and The Last Stand - Union City. These are great shooter games, and get better with every game. When I played the first game I was hooked. I completely lost my weekend playing them. Once again, turn the lights down, and the sound up, and play!
Now that I have that out of the way, I can talk more about the design of my blog. Rome was not built in a day, nor was Newgrounds designed in an hour. My blog isn't as aesthetically pleasing as I would like it to be but it's a work in progress. I plan to improve it more and more as time goes on. Does anyone have any ideas on my blog? I like the color scheme, but the background and title look like they can be worked on. A year from now i want to look at this post and how my blog looked and laugh, but for right now lets work on making it look unique and pleasing.

True scary flash games are hard to come by, I know a few that made me jump, or gave me chills. There is one game similar to Ghostscape that scared the crap out of me. Its called Exmortis. There a few reasons I like this games. One, the game's art is fantastic. Two, the audio has a way of sneaking up on you when you don't expect it. Last but not least, all the elements of gameplay come together and feel right together. I have played some scary flash games that are only slightly scary because something in the game just doesn't feel right. I played a game with good artwork, story, and sound. I loved it until the game picked up more and the UI (user interface) was introduced. the art was very dark, and the UI was very bright and flashy, and it pulled you out of the game. Exmortis does a wonderful job blending all the elements of the game together. Play it here: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/189227 remember to turn the lights off and sound up!

I love Halloween! It's one of my favorite holidays ever! For me, its all about being scared. I have a few games I know of that will do just that. Here is the first game, Ghostscape! Its one of the many escape games out there, and one of the few that can scare you! Turn down the lights, turn up the sound, and play away! More scary games should be on the way!
This is one of my favorite flash games ever! I think this is the game that really introduced me to this type of flash game. Artistic games capture a feeling that is very hard to create. The music combine with the art and mechanics is what makes a artistic game worth playing. The music often creates an emotion, and the art should put an emphasis on the feeling your trying to create. The mechanics are often much more laid back then your everyday beat em up. They focus on puzzles often times, and sometimes there isn't an aim to the game at all. P
To start things off, im going to first tell u who I am. I live in a crappy town in California. I love graphic design, and all things artistic. One of my favorite screen names is CADS. It actually stands for my initials, which I always thought was a cool screen name. Crazystuff is a little thing I made on Newgrounds to start designing in flash. Instead of using Crazystuff as my name, I chose CADS in case I ever do something other than Crazystuff productions. My next blog is going to be about one of my favorite artistic flash games!

This is my first blog, i decided to write about what i want to do with my blog. I want my blog to be a bunch of stuff that has to do with graphic design. i love the artistic side of animation and flash and know a lot of flash games worth playing for the artistic elements alone. i have lots of ideas which i will share more often once i finally buy flash to start animating again. if you want to see the stuff i made using a 30 day trial of flash check out my Newgrounds page http://crazystuff.newgrounds.com/
